Synopsis

Upon a cold, snowing afternoon, Vasilisa Belladonne finds herself at the mercy of the Heatherway's residents, weathly aristocrats who live within a castle filled with endless wonders. Despite an unfortunate encounter with one of the Karnstein sisters, she's granted refuge from the storm and allowed to stay for as long as she pleases. 

However, all is not as it seems: hushed rumours buzz among the maids of strange disappearances in the woods, traces of blood soaked through the carpets, and a supernatural entity who stalks the halls at night—a creature they've simply branded as The Beast. 

About the Game

Nekrakissarelle is a dark, Yuri story based on the fairytale, Belle and the Beast. In this game, the main character is tasked with uncovering the identity of the Beast before it devours her and all those she may ally with. However, Vasilisa's morals will be tested as she must choose either a noble path or a path washed with blood.

There are four main love interests and each of them has a route. 

The three Karnstein Sisters:

Cimera Karnstein - The Coldest who only longs for her rose garden,

Euryale Karnstein - The Charmer, beloved by all and 

Lamia Karnstein -  The Naive one with the quickest heart.

There is also one of Euryale's maids in waiting Andrea Vivera - The Innocent, who longs for love.

I also plan on adding multiple endings, some good, many bad and a few more in between.

For now, I'm working on the first chapter of the story which I'm hoping will be around an hour or two's worth of content and I'll be updating this game every month. I'll also try updating this page regularly with my progress.

Main Characters 

Vasilisa Belladonne

Vasilisa's eyes are the eyes with which we view the world. Though we often get to see her perspective, she can be somewhat guarded when it comes to her thoughts. She is outwardly warm and cheerful, despite the traces of a more sardonic personality hidden beneath her facade. She has a strong sense of justice.

Cimera Karnstein

Outwardly cruel and malicious, Cimera seems the sort who can hold a grudge for aeons and would have no problem plucking out your entire eye just because you pulled out one of her eyelashes. She is often regarded as stern by the most charitable and cruel by the most honest.

Euryale (Riley) Karnstein 

A handsome woman, though this is often a compliment rather than a slight,  Euryale(or Riley) is outwardly charismatic and adored by all who know her. However, some may scorn her for her flagrant disregard for ladyship and social norms.

Lamia Karnstein 

Though she is well past the age where you would consider one a child Lamia still seems to have the temperament of one. She can be charming when she needs to be, she has many talents but all her lovely traits seem to be overlooked as she wraps herself in scandal after scandal. 

Andrea Vivera

A kind-hearted woman devoted to her work at Heatherway castle as well as the master she serves. Though she cannot help but wish for a life beyond mudane chores and servitude she seldom complains. ;

Final Notes

I plan on releasing the game around the last week of the jam as a means of giving myself more time to clean up the story and complete all the assets. I have a huge issue with scope creep so for now I'm trying to focus on the most essential components of the visual novel. I also picked Ren'py up again cos my laptop died and I've had to use an older laptop that only runs on Windows 7.
